The construction and function of TIMBO painting plants meet the relevant German and European safety regulations for the processing of conventional and water-based paint systems.
1. Booth Shell The double wall panels are made of steel sheet, thickness 50 mm, inside and outside white, insulated with non-combustible rock wool. They have a tongue and groove interlocking system for quick assembly.
2. Filter Ceiling The filter ceiling is also made of fully insulated sandwich panels in white colour with filling of mineral rock wool. The ceiling filter has a quick change system so that one person only is needed for exchange of filters.
3. Lighting The ceiling lights consist of units with 4 x 22 W LED lamps. The units are mounted at 45°, protected with safety glass towards in-cabin room, and hermetically sealed, according to IP 54, Zone 2. The side lights consist of 2 x 18 W LED lamps and are mounted vertically in the side walls.
4. Aggregates For the aggregates directly-driven radial ventilators are used with high efficiency. The motors are from Siemens or ABB. Depending on requirements and structural possibilities the aggregates may be positioned at one side or behind the booth as well as space-saving above the booth.
5. Heating System For heating oil or gas burners can be used with indirect burning via heat exchanger, or also hot water or steam registers. The optimum heating is provided by direct firing with gas surface burner with an efficiency of ca. 100%.
6. Control System and Adjustment TIMBO spray booths are equipped with following components for adjustment of the unit: - Change-over damper for automatic change-over of the system from painting phase to evaporation and drying operation. - Exhaust air valve for regulation of the booth pressure, adjustable by servo-motor. - For evaporation of water-based paints the system is equipped with an intermediate drying feature. - Solvent pipe in galvanised execution with air-stop device for air flow adjustment during drying process, with flap valve, driven by servo-motor. - Temperature electronically controlled by temperature sensor. - Filter control by manometer with direct indication.
7. Energy Saving Feature To save energy, the booths our booths may be equipped optionally with Vacon frequency converters with sensorless vector control, integrated PLC functions and with an energy saving switch to hang up the spray gun and to change to the energy saving level (see also under "News").
